Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries, reported approximately 60 per cent year-on-year growth in gross revenue to ₹8,266 crore in July–September 2026, as Campa beverages and Independence-led daily essentials gained scale. The company has initiated six integrated greenfield food and beverage manufacturing projects across India.
RCPL did not separately disclose consolidated quarterly profit attributable to shareholders, revenue from operations or EBITDA, limiting an assessment of how its expanding sales are translating into earnings.
First-half gross revenue reached ₹16,900 crore, about 1.8 times the year-earlier level and equivalent to nearly 80 per cent of its entire FY26 revenue, according to Reliance’s investor presentation.
Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh D. Ambani said: “Our consumer products business kept its growth momentum, with the FMCG brand portfolio gaining further ground among Indian consumers.”
The Campa-led beverages business generated more than ₹5,250 crore in first-half sales, growing 2.1 times year-on-year and exceeding 90 per cent of its full-year FY26 sales.
Reliance said RCPL had become India’s third-largest non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverage player, with double-digit market share in several states.
Daily essentials, led by Independence, generated approximately ₹7,000 crore in first-half sales, about 1.7 times the year-earlier level. Edible oils and dry fruits were key growth drivers, while Udhaiyam and Independence supported growth in pulses.
“Home and personal care led by Glimmer is gaining early consumer traction in the market,” Reliance said in its investor presentation.
The company attributed growth to product-range expansion and wider national distribution. It also identified biscuits as a focus category across mass and premium segments and entered the dairy category through ice creams.
Alongside initiating six greenfield projects, RCPL commissioned additional high-speed beverage production lines. The company did not disclose the projects’ investment outlay, locations, capacities or commissioning schedules.
Internationally, Campa entered Australian supermarket chains Coles and Woolworths, supported by local production. RCPL also launched in Kenya, adding to existing African operations, and expanded its presence in the UAE, Oman and Malaysia.
Despite strong year-on-year growth, the disclosed first-half total implies June-quarter gross revenue of ₹8,634 crore. September-quarter revenue was therefore approximately 4.3 per cent lower sequentially, based on calculations from RIL’s figures. The presentation did not explain the movement.
The manufacturing investments and international expansion underline Reliance’s ambition to scale its FMCG operations, although the absence of separate profitability disclosures leaves the returns from that expansion unclear.
