Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai ruled the headlines thanks to Pratiksha Honmukhe and Shehzada Dhami‘s overnight ouster from the show. Shehzada played the male lead character of Armaan. Pratiksha played the character of Ruhi. As the reports of their termination went viral, it was being reported that unprofessionalism was the cause behind the decision of the makers. Reportedly, Shehzada asked crew members to refer to him as Sir and there were many more incidents. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was Pratiksha Honmukhe’s debut show and co-stars allegedly believe that she got ‘influenced’ . Now, Pratiksha has finally broken her silence and penned a lengthy note talking about her Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai journey.

Sharing a video of Ruhi from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai serial, Pratiksha Honmukhe wrote that it wasn’t just a character for her but an emotion. She recalled her first day of shoot. It was very new to her as it was her debut show. She penned that on her first day she understood the power of facing the camera. She further wrote that she met some good and bad people through the journey. Pratiksha also wrote about people passing judgements as she penned, “Got to know that it’s very easy for people to judge you or to comment on you because you are a public figure,they will not think even once before judging you. Understood that people can really be cruel and can say mean things for real without even thinking the repercussions of it… learnt that you can be at the most successful point of your life and your mental health can totally fall down.”

Pratiksha further wrote that she is grateful for the opportunity and that she now knows who deserves a seat on her table.

Shehzada Dhami is yet to make any post regarding his termination from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. However, he did share a fan made video of his recalling all the moments as Armaan. There are reports suggesting that he has bagged another big TV project but there is no confirmation as yet. Rohit Purohit has replaced Shehzada and Garvita Sadhwani has replaced Pratiksha Honmuke in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
