Health sector major Narayana Hrudayalaya Ltd on Monday said it has entered into an agreement to exclusively operate and manage Mission of Mercy Hospital and Research Centre on Park Street in Kolkata.
The agreement with the hospital and the Assemblies of God of North India to operate the facility will enable Narayana Hrudayalaya to leverage its expertise in healthcare and hospital management to support the long-term sustainability and service capacity, it said in a regulatory filing.
The existing hospital has a built-up area of approximately 63,240.37 sq ft and a capacity of 100 beds, it said.
The agreement does not confer any ownership, lease rights or other interest in the underlying land to Narayana Hrudayalaya, according to the filing.
Commercial operations by the company are subject to fulfilment of certain conditions precedent by the parties, which may take up to 12 months from the date of execution of the agreement, it added.
