Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories has launched Nivorz (Nivolumab Biosimilar) in India. Nivroz is a biosimilar to Opdivo (nivolumab). The launch represents a significant milestone for Dr. Reddy’s, with Nivorz marking its entry into biosimilar immuno-oncology in India.
Developed and manufactured entirely in-house at Dr. Reddy’s biologics facility in Bachupally, Hyderabad, it reflects the company’s end-to-end capabilities across the biosimilar value chain, from development through commercialisation.

The immuno-oncology market in India, estimated at about ₹3,900 crore in 2025, is predominantly driven by checkpoint inhibitors such as nivolumab, pembrolizumab and toripalimab.
