CIEL HR Services posted revenues of ₹1,178 crore for the half year ended September 2026 (H1FY27), a growth of 27 per cent when compared to the same period last year. Profit after tax increased 19.3 per cent year-on-year at ₹13.7 crore.
Speaking at a virtual press conference on Tuesday, Executive Director & Chairman, K Pandiarajan said that the Chennai-based company’s growth has beat the HR industry average of 8 per cent year-on-year recorded by its peers.
“For the first time, we have also seen a big turnaround in free cashflow; from negative ₹12.6 crore in the same period last year our free cash flow has grown to ₹2.3 crore,” he said. Pandiarajan added that the positive free cash flow will help in better valuations as the company gears up for its previously postponed IPO in FY28.
During the half year, the company also structurally integrated its two prior acquisitions — People metrics and Courseplay.
“Bringing People Metrics and Courseplay together gives our clients one connected path from understanding their people’s capabilities to building them. We expect this, along with our continued focus on productivity, to strengthen our bottom line further in the second half,” he added.
Aditya Mishra, Managing Director and Group CEO said that the company’s business has been aided by strong momentum in sectors like healthcare and quick commerce. He added that the company is deploying AI across internal functions, including finance, HR, technology and marketing, as well as its products while it is also being integrated into its assessment and learning offerings.
As for the full financial year FY27, the company expects revenues to be around ₹2,600 crore, a 31 per cent growth compared to FY26. PAT will be nearly ₹28 crore, as against approximately ₹17 crore in the FY26.
