Welspun Tubular LLC, the US subsidiary of Welspun Corp, has secured a fresh order worth approximately ₹5,500 crore to supply coated line pipes for a Permian natural gas pipeline project in the United States.
A major midstream company awarded the order, and the pipeline will serve an anchor customer: a data centre complex owned by one of the world’s A-grade hyperscalers, representing the highest tier of global digital infrastructure.
The order positions Welspun at the intersection of two of the decade’s biggest infrastructure themes, namely energy transmission and AI-led data centre expansion, the company said.
The project will be executed from Welspun’s US facility during FY29.
Following the order win, Welspun’s global order book has reached a record high of approximately $5.25 billion (around ₹50,000 crore), the company added.
