Tuni Textile Mills, a leading textile manufacturing and woven fabrics trading company, has received three domestic purchase orders worth about ₹31 crore in this month.
The orders cover about 1.975 million metres of woven shirting and finished fabrics. It includes poly cotton, higher cotton content shirting and other finished fabric specifications.
The new orders reflect a diverse set of customer requirements across Tuni Textile Mills’ shirting and finished fabric portfolio.
Northakross Syntex has placed the largest order for 1 million metres of finished fabric, while Sharda Corporation has ordered 0.575 million metres covering poly cotton shirting and fabrics with higher cotton content.
Disha Clothings has placed an order for around 0.400 million metres of woven shirting across different poly cotton specifications.
At 1.98 million metres, the contracted volume is equivalent to approximately 99 per cent of the company’s stated annual manufacturing capacity of 2 million metres.
The orders are scheduled for delivery over the next 60 to 120 days, with the Northakross Syntex order to be completed by January 5, 2027.
The company has manufacturing facility at MIDC Murbad, Maharashtra and is equipped with European make rapier looms and related weaving infrastructure, providing the operational base for its fabric manufacturing activities.
Over the years, the company has developed capabilities across polyester, cotton, polyester cotton, polyester viscose and other blended fabrics, along with multiple weave structures including plain, twill, oxford, satin, herringbone and poplin.
Narendra Kumar Sureka, Managing Director, Tuni Textile Mills said the orders reflect the demand across shirting and blended fabric offerings and give the company a meaningful execution pipeline for the coming months.
The company will now focus on maintaining consistent fabric quality, meeting customer specifications and delivering within the committed timelines, he said.
