Tube Investments of India (TII), part of the Murugappa Group, reported robust financial results in the fourth quarter of FY26, and the full fiscal year, driven by strong performance across its various businesses.
TII’s consolidated revenue for the quarter ended March 2026 (Q4 FY26) was ₹ 6,215 crore against ₹5,150 crore in the year-ago period. Profit after tax (PAT) was ₹234 crore, against ₹158 crore in the same quarter last year.
For the year ended March 31, 2026, TII’s consolidated revenue for the year was ₹22,847 crore, up 17 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y). Profit at ₹1,118 crore grew 6 per cent.
The company’s revenue was driven by the performance of CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd, a subsidiary company, in which TII holds 56 per cent stake. CG Power’s consolidated revenue for the year was ₹12,418 crore against ₹9,909 crore in the previous year – up 25 per cent. The profit before exceptional items and tax was at ₹1,662 crore against ₹1,348 crore in the previous year.
However, Shanti Gears, another subsidiary, where TII holds 70 per cent stake, saw a decline in performance. Consolidated revenue was at ₹519 crore in FY26 against ₹605 crore in the previous year.
Tube Investments operates across engineering, mobility, metal-formed products and industrial businesses, with its focus areas spanning bicycles, automotive components, electric mobility and precision engineering.
In terms of its divisions, the engineering business revenue for the full year was ₹5,612 crore compared with ₹5,029 crore in the previous year. Profit before interest and tax for the full year was ₹689 crore against ₹617 crore in the previous year.
Mobility business revenue was ₹783 crore for FY26 against ₹671 crore in the previous year. Profit before interest and tax for the full year was ₹19 crore against ₹5 crore in the year-ago period.
To meet the company’s funding requirements for FY27, the Board has approved long-term borrowing up to ₹350 crore. This will be by way of term loan and/or privately placed secured non-convertible debentures (NCDs). The Board has also recommended a final dividend of ₹1.50 per share for FY26.
The shares of Tube Investments ended the trading day at ₹2,938.05, almost flat on the BSE.
