EV energy infrastructure player SUN Mobility has appointed Satish Sundaresan as CEO of SUN Mobility, while Kamaldeep Singh will take over as CEO of Indofast Energy, the 50:50 joint venture between Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) and SUN Mobility.
Sundaresan will lead engineering, manufacturing operations and global sourcing, overseeing the delivery of Smart Batteries, Quick Interchange Stations (QIS) and energy platforms at scale to Indofast Energy in India and SUN Mobility’s international businesses.
He will also oversee manufacturing excellence, capacity expansion, supply resilience and the technology roadmap, including open-architecture product innovation, as the company prepares for its next phase of growth and new business lines.
As CEO of Indofast Energy, Singh will lead the company’s next growth phase, scaling its nationwide battery-swapping network and building a high-performance, economically sustainable operating platform.
Singh has more than two decades of experience in P&L leadership, consumer businesses and large-scale distributed operations. He previously served as CEO of Big Bazaar and DealShare, and brings experience scaling complex networks, driving execution discipline, and building strong unit economics.
