Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) on Monday announced it has received a Letter of Award (LoA) for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of a gas pipeline project in the United Arab Emirates, classified as a “Major” order, indicating an estimated contract value exceeding ₹4,000 crore.
The Mumbai-based EPC company disclosed the win to BSE and NSE through a regulatory filing dated September 28, 2026, noting the order was received in the normal course of business. No further details on the client, project timeline, or precise contract value were disclosed.
Despite the announcement, KPIL shares traded lower on the NSE, declining 1.14 per cent to ₹1,375.30 as of 09.55 am, against a previous close of ₹1,391.20. The stock had opened higher at ₹1,420 and touched an intraday high of ₹1,424.80 before sellers dominated, with 58.16 per cent of traded quantity on the sell side. Total traded value stood at ₹8.28 crore in early trade. The company’s total market capitalisation was ₹23,460.73 crore.
MD & CEO Manish Mohnot called the win a testament to the company’s technical expertise and global scalability in the oil and gas sector.
KPIL reported revenues of ₹27,143 crore in FY2026 and currently has over 250 projects under execution across 30-plus countries, with a global footprint spanning 75 nations.
