Kerala’s first Vande Bharat Express operates between Thiruvananthapuram and Kasaragod, running via Shoranur Junction. This semi-high-speed train covers a distance of 588 km in about 8 hrs and 5 minutes from both ends. Thus, this premium train has reduced the average travel time between Thiruvananthapuram and Kasaragod by almost three hours.
