Reliance Industries’ streaming platform JioStar announced a new multi-year deal with Luxembourg-based space solutions company SES for satellite distribution services to provide JioStar’s portfolio of television channels across the Indian sub-continent.
JioStar can now distribute its channels reliably to cable, DTH and broadcast distribution networks across the region, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery to millions of households using IS-20 satellites.
This makes JioStar part of SES’s established video neighbourhood serving broadcasters, media companies, telecom operators and government customers across Europe, West Asia, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region.
