Harrisons Malayalam Limited has secured five awards at the Tea Golden Leaf India Awards (TGLIA) – Southern Tea Competition 2026, held IN Coonoor, placing the company among those receiving the highest number of awards in the competition.
The competition is jointly organised by the Tea Board and the United Planters’ Association of Southern India (UPASI).
Lockhart Estate secured three awards, while Wallardie and Moongalar Estates won one each, covering both Orthodox and CTC teas. The entries were assessed by a distinguished jury comprising national and international tea experts.
HML has been a consistent recipient of TGLIA honours over the years, reflecting the sustained standards of its tea production and the efforts of its management, field and factory teams, the company said in a press release.
