Gopalan Metals (India) Pvt. Ltd., the copper manufacturing company backed by the Gopalan Group, has launched Gopalan Wires and Cables, its building wires brand for residential, commercial and industrial applications. The product range currently includes FR (Flame Retardant) and FRLS-H (Flame Retardant Low Smoke and Halogen) PVC house wires.
Gopalan Wires and Cables is manufactured at Gopalan Metals’ facility in Hoskote, Karnataka, which has a monthly production capacity of approximately 6,000 km of building wires. The company currently supplies its products to electrical dealers, distributors, contractors, builders, infrastructure projects, OEMs and end users across retail and institutional markets.
The launch comes amid rising demand for electrical products, driven by rapid urbanisation, expansion in the real estate sector and large-scale infrastructure development across India.
