The Godrej Foundation, an independent philanthropic trust, on Friday said it has signed an agreement with the Maharashtra government and Samagra Development Foundation, launching a two-year partnership to support comprehensive human resource reforms across the State.
The non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with the State’s General Administration Department (GAD) aims to improve key HR processes across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and deployment to retirement, Godrej Foundation said in a statement.
Under the partnership, GAD will provide strategic direction for the reforms and Godrej Foundation will act as the philanthropic and strategic partner, while Samagra, a non-profit organisation focused on governance and public sector reform, will serve as the implementation partner, driving day-to-day execution, technology facilitation, and knowledge creation.
“Our partnership with the Maharashtra government is a testament to the power of collective action in addressing some of the state’s most important priorities.
“At Godrej, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that create opportunities, improve lives, and contribute to a more resilient and prosperous Maharashtra for generations to come,” Godrej Industries Group Chairperson Pirojsha Godrej said.
