Defence and aerospace electronics solutions provider Data Patterns on Friday reported a 55 per cent drop in net profit for the quarter ended September 2026 (Q2 FY27) at ₹22 crore, as against ₹49 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company’s revenue from operations tumbled 57 per cent to ₹133 crore (₹307 crore).
For the first half of FY27, PAT stood at ₹44 crore (₹75 crore), while revenue declined to ₹265 crore (₹423 crore).
The company received fresh orders worth ₹929 crore in Q2FY27, taking H1FY27 inflows to ₹1,046 crore, nearly three times the level recorded in H1FY26.
“Q2FY27 was a more muted quarter from a revenue perspective following the exceptionally strong execution in Q2FY26. With several programme milestones progressing and deliveries expected to pick up, we expect H2FY27 to be stronger than H1FY27, supported by our healthy order book and execution momentum,” Srinivasagopalan Rangarajan, Chairman & Managing Director, Data Patterns said in a statement.
“Our current order book, including orders received and negotiated, stands at approximately ₹2,698 crores, providing healthy revenue visibility. We are also seeing encouraging opportunities for larger, complete-system contracts across radar, electronic warfare and communication systems, supported by our investments in technology and manufacturing capabilities,” he said.
Rangarajan said the company is on track to achieve its full-year targets, and its FY27 guidance remains unchanged.
