Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABD) reported its highest-ever monthly sales volumes in two consecutive months, with sales exceeding 3.5 million cases in September 2026 and crossing 3.6 million cases in October 2026. Combined volumes for the two months surpassed 7 million cases. The company’s stock traded at ₹696.25 on Wednesday, up 0.24 per cent intraday, with a market capitalisation of approximately ₹19,475 crore.
The festival season performance marks the fourth time in seven months this financial year that ABD has set a new monthly sales record. The company attributed the growth to strong demand across its portfolio, contributions from multiple regions including the defence market, and international markets across its 42-country export presence.
Two brands crossed the one-million-cases-per-year threshold during this period. Officer’s Choice Brandy joined ABD’s millionaire brands club on the back of near double-digit market share in key southern states within the Mass Premium category. Sumo Whisky, the company’s newer Mass Premium offering, also achieved millionaire brand status in October 2026, driven by consumer demand in southern markets. ABD now counts six millionaire brands in its portfolio.
A day earlier, ABD’s super-premium subsidiary ABD Maestro Private Limited announced the expansion of its Rangeela Vodka range with two new flavours — Rangeela Jhatpat Jamun Vodka and Rangeela Kala Khatta Vodka. Inspired by Indian street food profiles, the flavoured vodkas are triple distilled and platinum chill filtered. They are currently available in Maharashtra in 750 ml and 180 ml formats, priced at ₹2,500 and ₹625 respectively, with Goa, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh launches to follow.
ABD’s stock has gained approximately 15.87 per cent year-to-date, against a negative 5.35 per cent return for the Nifty 500 over the same period. The scrip’s 52-week high stands at ₹766.90, hit on October 15, 2026.
