Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai TV serial stars Rohit Purohit and Samridhii Shukla as Armaan and Abhira. Rohit joined the show after Shehzada Dhami’s ouster. Currently, the story is all about Abhira and Ruhi’s pregnancy. Abhira had a complicated pregnancy and doctors could not save her baby as she went into premature labour. Ruhi met with an accident and doctors had to immediately get her operated. While she delivery a baby boy, Ruhi slipped into coma.
In today’s episode of that grabs attention in , we see Armaan () crying hard as he does not know how to break the news of their child’s demise to Abhira (). Rohit consoles him and asks him to stay strong. Armaan remembers his mother Vidya’s curse. She had cursed Armaan and Abhira that they will never be able to lead a happy married life. Another shocker comes in when doctor reveals that Ruhi has slipped into coma. Rohit is shocked and how. Abhira gains consciousness and asks Armaan about their child. Armaan is unable to inform Abhira that their child is no more. Rohit shows up and hands over his and Ruhi’s baby to Abhira. Stating that the baby is hers. Abhira gets suspicious and questions why the baby isn’t under observation as he is a premature baby. Rohit says that the baby is as strong as her. Abhira is the happiest and sheds happy tears cradling the baby.
Armaan has a conversation with Rohit. She slams Rohit for his move stating that he will now have to break Abhira’s heart twice. Rohit requests Armaan to not reveal the truth to Abhira. Manish shows up at the same time.
In the precap of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see Poddars welcoming Armaan, Abhira and the baby into the house with aarti. Ruhi who is in coma is also brought back. Abhira discusses Ruhi’s condition with Armaan and states that she would not have been able to bear the loss of a child. She is still unaware that she has Ruhi’s baby. Now, Ruhi gains consiciousness and Armaan is shocked.
