Sree Vishnu’s latest film Single, directed by Caarthick Raju, opened to a decent opening at the box office, raking in 4.15 crore globally on its first day. Sree Vishnu has often found success with wholesome entertainers, and Single is no exception.
The film saw a substantial surge, grossing 7.05 crore on day two. The total worldwide gross now stands at Rs 11.20 crore in two days.
Vishnu’s performance, particularly his flair for comic timing and witty dialogue, is being praised and is drawing large crowds. The audiences are particularly enjoying his scenes with Vennela Kishore. Interestingly, although marketed as a youthful entertainer, the film has drawn large numbers of family audiences, thanks to hilarious moments all through.
Single is also faring well in the USA, as it has already surpassed the $300K mark and is on track to touch $500K by the end of its first weekend.
The film saw over 80.91K tickets booked in the last 24 hours. With Sunday promising even better footfalls, day three numbers are expected to surpass previous records. If the movie continues this momentum, Single could become Sree Vishnu’s highest-grossing film to date.
