Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai serial is all about Abhira and Armaan’s love story. Their fans are witnessing an emotional turmoil following the painful separation of Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) and Armaan (Rohit Purohit). They love each other to the core but thanks to the family dynamics, they chose to separate. However, it seems that Armaan is finally realising his mistakes. In the recent episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see Armaan finally taking a stand for Abhira and calling out his mother Vidya’s double standards.

In the recent episode of we see Armaan () being all heartbroken as he sees Roop Kumar proposing to Abhira (). He is angry, upset and sad. He now believes that he lost Abhira forever due to his own actions. Vidya badmouths Abhira and calls him ‘besharam ladki’. However, Armaan interrupts and questions her double standards. He says that the Poddar family has a problem with everything. They have a problem with Abhira calling Armaan her ‘husband’. They also have a problem if she moves on. Armaan questions why the rules are different for him and Abhira. He asserts that the family wants Armaan to move on from Abhira but when she is doing the same, she is being labelled ‘besharam’. Vidya is shocked by Armaan’s retaliation. She questions him whether he is blaming her for his separation from Abhira.

Armaan, however, realises that it is his fault and now it is too late. He believes that he has lost Abhira forever and states that he has no right to question Abhira. He also adds that in order to prove himself to be a good son, he turned out to be a bad husband.
