In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we’ll see Armaan (Rohit Purohit) facing the biggest challenge of his life. The episode will begin with Roop Kumar (Siddharth Shivpuri) arguing with Armaan. He now knows that Shivani is his biological mother. Roop took care of Shivani for all this while and now, Armaan showed up as her son. In the recent episode, a broken Roop asked Armaan to choose between Shivani and Abhira (Samridhii Shukla). Today, Armaan will make his decision!

In today’s episode of , the viewers will also see Roop Kumar (Siddharth Shivpuri) giving Armaan () time to think about Shivani and Armaan. Later, Armaan goes missing, and Abhira () steps out to hunt for Armaan, only to find him in his office. He is deep in his thoughts. She does not disturb him as she does not want to influence his decision. She sits outside his office, waiting for him. Armaan sees her and picks her up in his arms.

Next, Armaan will meet Roop. Finally, he makes up his mind. Armaan chooses Shivani over Abhira. He wants to stay with his biological mother. He believes that he is getting punished for his behaviour against Abhira and that is why he is being made to choose. But Abhira is happy with the decision made by Armaan. Both of them say that they will miss each other. Abhira also promises that she will stay happy without him. But Roop brings another major twist!

Roop doesn’t turn negative rather he was just testing Armaan. He admits he wanted to see if Armaan would take care of Shivani and prioritise her the way he did. But here’s the twist, Roop also praises Armaan. He says that he has a big heart as he is willing to sacrifice his love for his mother. He also jokingly says that ‘Aap log Poddar aur Sharma nahi, aap log tyagi hai’. This surprising side of Roop leaves Armaan and Abhira shocked.
