Ranbir Kapoor is one of India’s finest and most charismatic actors, boasting a massive fan following.

In an era when many actors from film families struggle to live up to expectations, Ranbir stands out as an exception whose stature has consistently grown over time. Talking about how the actor has maintained the same, celebrated astrologer Vikkramm Chandirramani says that Ranbir Kapoor has been experiencing his Sade Sati since January 2017. Sade Sati occurs when Saturn transits through the sign before, the sign of, and the sign after the Moon’s placement in the natal chart.

“In Ranbir Kapoor’s chart, the Moon is positioned in Capricorn, which places him in the final phase of Sade Sati, set to conclude by the end of March 2025. The general perception of Sade Sati is that it is a highly challenging period,” he notes. However, this is a broad generalisation. During his Sade Sati, Ranbir Kapoor has achieved significant milestones, he got married (to Alia Bhatt), welcomed a daughter (Raha Kapoor), rebuilt his family home and delivered his career’s biggest blockbuster, Animal (2023), which became one of the highest-grossing films of the year. While he has faced setbacks, such as the loss of his father, the legendary actor Rishi Kapoor, and a few underperforming films, his overall stature, wealth and success have risen significantly during this time.

“This is partly due to Saturn being a benefitting planet for Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir Kapoor is currently working on Ramayana, directed by Nitish Tiwari. In this ambitious project, he will share the screen with Yash, Sunny Deol, Sai Pallavi, and Lara Dutta. He also has Love & War with Sanjay Leela Bhansali where he stars alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Both the films are slated for release in 2026. Meanwhile, Ranbir is unlikely to have a film release in 2025. The sequel to his blockbuster Animal, titled Animal Park, is scheduled to begin production next year.

Vikkramm Chandirramani predicts, “Despite the lack of a film release, 2025 promises to be a significant and eventful year for him. In January 2025, Ranbir Kapoor is likely to make a major investment. This could involve real estate, stocks, or some other asset class. Alternatively, he may acquire a car, invest in a business, or commit to producing a film. Additionally, a significant creative collaboration is likely to materialise in the second half of January. April 2025 will be a fabulous month for Ranbir Kapoor professionally, with several opportunities coming his way. This could involve multiple creative collaborations. His work during this time will be very well received, and he may also make several investments or initiate the production of a creative venture. A major announcement is likely in April or May 2025.”
