While Tamil star Ajith Kumar celebrated receiving the Padma Bhushan award the other day, a former actress stirred up controversy with shocking claims. Actress Heera Rajagopal shared a blog post that, without taking names, pointed strongly towards Ajith.
Heera and Ajith had worked together in the film Prema Lekha many years ago. Back then, rumors suggested they were in a relationship. Later, Ajith moved on and married his Amarkalam co-star Shalini.
In her blog, Heera said she loved a famous actor and stood by him through his health issues. She even mentioned that she took care of him after his surgery, doing everything from looking after him to cleaning him when he was bedridden.
But the relationship ended badly. According to Heera, during a private meeting to end things, the actor insulted her by saying he was going to marry someone who “looked like a maid” and that he wouldn’t care who Heera was with after that.
She also accused the actor of turning his fans against her and damaging her image by spreading rumors about her being a drug addict. Heera strongly hinted that her acting career ended because of the betrayal she faced.
Even though Heera never directly named Ajith, her words made it obvious whom she was talking about. Her sudden statements have shocked fans, especially as they came on the day Ajith received one of India’s highest civilian honors.
