Singer Sharda Sinha was rushed to the ICU after she could not eat or drink. Fans have been praying for her good health as per a report in the Navbharat Times. The singer always expressed gratitude towards her husband for supporting her. She had once revealed that her husband knew about her deep love for music and he managed to convince her mother-in-law to let her pursue her passion post their marriage in 1970.
Sharda Sinha lived with her in-laws in Begusarai and her mother-in-law disapproved of women singing outside the home in public. Did you know, she was allowed to sing devotional songs at home but was not allowed to sing in public. Post Sharda’s marriage, the village head approached her father-in-law and requested that he allow her to perform devotional songs at the temple. Her father-in-law agreed, but her mother-in-law did not approve. Sharda who hails from Bihar has been singing superhit songs including Kahe Toh Se Sajna and Babul.
