The dialogues and particular sequences often go viral on social media. But at that time, when and collaboration was announced, not everyone reacted positively. Some even term their collab to be the “worst combination”.

The Singham director said that there was so much speculation about him and SRK at that time. “When Chennai Express was about to start, they said, ‘Shah Rukh aur Rohit ka toh jamega hi nahi (they won’t get along!). It is the worst combination’, ‘Shah Rukh goes overboard when he does comedy; how will Rohit handle him?’ and ‘Arre, Rohit’s making a love story… what kind of a love story will he make?’,” revealed the Khatron Ke Khiladi host.
Further in this entertainment news, Rohit Shetty stated that some people reacted based on what they thought the film would be. However, the reality was that only he knew what he was making. Along with SRK, Chennai Express also stars Deepika Padukone, Sathyaraj, and Nikitin Dheer. DP’s character Meenamma has become a fan favourite over the years. The movie also paid tribute to Rajinikanth, aka Thalaivar, with the song Lungi Dance.
