Bigg Boss season 18 contestant Rajat Dalal grabbed eyeballs for his derogatory remarks about his fellow contestants. His remarks got him trolled, by netizens. Now former contestants, including Eisha Singh, Edin Rose, and Sara Arfeen Khan, who were once close to Rajat, have unfollowed him on Instagram. Yes, you read that right!
Sara shared a strong bond with Rajat in Salman Khan’s reality show and even supported him post the show created a distance from him on social media. During their stay inside Bigg Boss 18, Rajat was seen saving Sara from elimination and fighting for her. When Sara got evicted from Bigg Boss 18, Rajat was deeply hurt and was impacted because of the same.
But, now it seems as if Sara has cut ties with him on social media. While her husband Arfeen Khan still follows Rajat on Instagram. Eisha Singh, Kashish Kapoor, and Edin Rose have also unfollowed him on social media. Eisha was never part of Rajat’s friend circle but considered as her brother. Yamini Malhotra, Edin and Kashish were part of Rajat’s group and spent quality time together. Sara once jokingly called them ‘RD’s Angels’. Eisha’s mother and brother expressed gratitude towards Rajat for looking after her inside the house.
But, Rajat’s harsh remarks about Eisha during a recent episode of Elvish Yadav’s podcast. He said, “Bhai, log aise ladkiyon se shaadi isliye karte hain taaki maid ki zaroorat na pade. Bartan badhiya maaj degi na.” (Bro, people marry such girls so they don’t need to hire a maid. She’ll wash dishes well”).
Rajat also mocked Shilpa Shirodkar as he called her neecha aadmi and Avinash Mishra as tharki. He further made remarks about Digvijay Rathee, Chaahat Pandey, Eisha Singh, and Vivian Dsena. The teaser of the podcast went viral on social media and netizens did not link the way Rajat spoke about his former housematres. Amid all the outrage, the controversial remarks about Eisha Singh were removed from the podcast.
