, best known for films like and many more, is currently in the news as a case has been filed against her husband in Goa. Reportedly, he has been booked for rash driving. As per reports, he has been booked for creating ruckus in Candolim as he got into an altercation with the locals. A case has been filed against him and two Goa residents. Reportedly, Farhan was driving a luxury SUV when he was stopped by a few locals in Candolim. A fight took place and Farhan called the police for protection. He reportedly even asked the locals to back off and warned them about his licensed firearm. As the incident made it to the headlines, Ayesha Takia has reacted to it.
The actress took to her Insta stories to state that her husband and child were ‘bullied’ in Goa. In a note, she wrote that it was a night of horror for the family and that her son, husband were brutally ‘bullied and feared for their lives as ‘local Goan goons mobbed, threatened, and tormented them for hours.’ She further also mentioned that “They even badly roughed up the police, who were called by my husband to protect our son and him.”
further mentioned that her husband Farhan Azmi and son were repeatedly cursed by the locals in Goa because there is a hatred toward people from Maharashtra. “The hatred for Maharashtra has reached unbelievable heights in Goa as they repeatedly cursed Farhan and my son for being from Maharashtra and having a big car. The police, in turn, have filed a complaint against Farhan when he was, in fact, the one who dialled 100 for help against the large crowd of almost 150 people,” she added.
The Wanted actress also claimed that they have video proof and CCTV footage as evidence. She showed trust in the India’s justice system and that they are cooperating with the law enforcement agencies.
To ANI, Police Inspector Paresh Naik stated that it was a case of ‘road rage’. He mentioned that a case has been filed on behalf of state as ‘nuisance created on the road and it was blocked for around 30 minutes.’
