There is a new kid on the block. , the 29 year old dashing actor, is all set to mark his Bollywood debut with . The film, also starring , and , will release in theatres on January 24, just ahead of India’s Republic Day. While this is Veer’s first film, he is not new to the set. The actor has worked as an intern on a film when he was just 14-year-old. Many years later, he worked as an assistant director on Bhediya and also played his body double in the film. However, the seeds of acting were sown in his heart way back.

Talking to BL exclusively on the latest episode of , Veer Pahariya reveals, “I was 9 years old when I first went to a film set. It was a film. He was filming Main Hoon Na.” The team was shooting the song with Shah Rukh and . “Shah Rukh ko dekh kar mere toh hosh he udd gaye. That’s when I decided that I also want to be in films. After that, whatever I have done, has all been to get ready to be in front of the camera.”

is based on real life war hero Squadron Leader Ajjamada Devayya and it aims to tell the story of this braveheart man, his life, his family. Veer also met the family of Mr Devayya recently and came back inspired by Mrs Sundari Devayya. “She is such a strong woman. And even at 90, she remembers every little detail about their life together. I showed her a song and she said ‘this is just like our honeymoon’. It was truly a moment of pride and a gratifying experience to meet her and her two daughters,” he says.
