Many interesting things happened in the entertainment world today. From Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 3 big update to Vivian Dsena’s shocking revelations, we have covered it all for you in the newswrap. Sandeep Reddy Vanga also shared his view on why Bobby Deol’s villain in Animal was written so differently than typical Bollywood bad guys.

Rani Mukerji is all set to return as Senior Inspector Shivani Shivaji Roy. The shooting of the crime film will start in June and will mostly be shot in Mumbai and Delhi. The makers are currently on the lookout for the main villain.

Imtiaz Ali will be presenting brother Arif Ali’s series, a romantic drama that features Aditi and Avinash. Imtiaz previously collaborated with the duo for Rockstar and Laila Majnu (Imtiaz wrote the screenplay).

In Animal, Bobby Deol played a deaf and mute but cruel villain. In an interview with Komal Nahta, Vanga revealed, “We have seen a lot of films where the hero and villain pick up the phone and abuse each other, or there is some sort of dialoguebaazi throughout the film. “Since we have seen a lot of such exchanges in our films, I just thought of sketching him as a mute and a deaf person. The very idea of a deaf-and-mute person fighting in the climax was such an exciting idea.”

In an interview, actor and Bigg Boss 18 contestant Vivian Dsena revealed that he was rejected 350 to 400 times in his career. About the same, he told Pinkvilla, “I think everyone experiences this, and I am nobody special. I don’t have this big struggling story. Every actor experiences this phase in their life. Rejection is the most important part of an actor’s life… It is important that confidence gets shattered. Ups and downs are important because life is not constant.”

Gajraj Rao revealed that in the past, he was exploited in the film industry. The actor told Indian Express, “They would promise a certain amount but then shortchange you. Once, I was hired for an ad film at Rs 20,000 per day for two days. After the first day, they handed me a cheque for Rs 20,000 and told me I wasn’t needed anymore. When I reminded them that I had been contracted for two days, they simply said my portions were wrapped up in one. What they didn’t realize was that I had turned down another job for this commitment.”
