Sankranthiki Vasthunnam proved to be the winner of the 2025 Pongal race in Tollywood. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, this Venkatesh-starrer comedy-drama is entertaining families to the core and minting huge money at the box office. One of the highlights of the film is the character of Bulli Raju, played by Revanth.
Revanth essayed the role of Venkatesh’s son in the movie. He is an OTT addict who is ruined by OTT shows and uses swear words on others. His scenes worked well in theatres and Revanth became an overnight sensation. This is his debut film and interestingly, Pawan Kalyan was one of the primary reasons for Revanth to grab this chance.
Speaking in an interview, Revanth revealed that he is a huge fan of Pawan Kalyan. He said that he also campaigned for Janasena during elections earlier this year. Anil Ravipudi happened to watch one of the viral campaign videos of Revanth and decided to audition him for the role. That is how he got a chance to enter the film industry.
Speaking at the success meet of the film, Revanth said that no kid should become bad by watching OTT shows like his character in the film. He said that his character was meant to give a message for kids not to be like that. He also thanked Anil Ravipudi for giving him the chance. We have to see how Revanth’s career will go forward after this sensational debut.
