‘s new film released in the theatres on 27 March, 2025. Within a month of its theatrical release, the Tamil action thriller has made its way to OTT. The movie is now streaming on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. It was just a few days ago that the platform had made the announcement on the film’s arrival. On April 24, Dheera Sooran Part 2 that also stars and has been made available for fans to watch on Amazon Prime Video. The movie is available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.
In Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2, plays the role of R Kaali. He is a provision store owner leading a peaceful life with his wife and child. But he is a man with a dark past. He left everything and moved to Madhurai with a mission to go away from the world of crime. However, a new task makes it difficult for him to achieve his mission. It is a gripping thriller that has received a 7.3 rating on IMDb. The film received positive reviews from the masses.
Now fans are excited as the movie has released on OTT. Prime Video made the announcement with poster and caption, “From redemption to revenge, one night changes everything.”
The interesting part of the film is that it is actually the first film in the franchise. The part 1 is yet to go on floors. When asked about the twisted title of the film, director SU Arun Kumar said at audio launch, “It was Vikram’s idea. When I first narrated the script to him, I told him that we could make a sequel to this film, and it was a continuation. And he told me to call it a second part, as it would be an apt title. So, he was the reason behind the title.”
