On Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, Varun Dhawan was asked about Samay Raina’s growing popularity and his show India’s Got Latent. Varun, who was promoting his film Baby John back then, revealed that the comedian had invited him to be a part of his show. However, the actor denied the offer for several reasons.
Varun told Ranveer, “He asked me to be on the show, and honestly, I’d love to go on it. I thrive in that kind of environment. I’m not scared of being cancelled, but my concern is that it could affect his show negatively. The more eyeballs you get with that type of humour, sometimes it becomes a crossfire.”
Ranveer Allahbadia, aka Beer Biceps, told the October actor that he should reconsider and be a part of Samay Raina’s show. To this Varun responded, “I would do it in a heartbeat. I’m not worried for myself, but I think the teams I work with might have concerns. I’d have to do it when I’m not promoting something because it will definitely be a crossfire.”
