Confusion is still on Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagath Singh’s Nizam G.O. The AP G.O. is already out and the bookings are already happening but there is no update on the G.O for Nizam.
There are legal complications in Nizam for Benefit Shows and Special Rates. An Advocate has been repeatedly targeting the film industry and going to Court.
Telangana High Court repeatedly made critical comments on the Government for allowing the Price Hikes and Premiere Shows.
Recently, the Court ordered that no hikes should be given in less than 90 days of release. Mythri Movie Makers approached the Supreme Court and got a Stay on it.
But there are no ordersb from government stating that ticket price hikes and premieres must be allowed. This means the government would have to issue a G.O. at the risk of being reprimanded by the High Court, as the Supreme Court has given a stay only on the 90-day condition. So, the suspense remains on whether the government will do that.
Gulte.com spoke to various sources in the distribution and got divided opinions. Some say the G.O may come by the end of the day but others say it is just 50-50.
Some opine that if the Government wants to give the G.O., it may give it after the court hours on Wednesday. So that there is no chance of going to the Court and the Benefit Shows will be completed before the court sits on 19th. So it is up to the Government to take the risk or not.
We have seen the drama that happened for Rajasaab. The G.O did not come until midnight and the Premieres got delayed and finally, only a few Premieres happened with regular rates.
The G.O. for Special Rates from the release day came but that resulted in Premieres tickets being cheaper than regular shows.
We will have to see if Ustaad Bhagath Singh can get the G.O without any confusion till the last-minute!
The situation of not having Benefit Shows in Nizam while having them in AP is totally undesirable for the fans as well as the producers.
