Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s much-anticipated project, Thug Life, turned out to be a big disappointment for the audience. Many people are comparing it with Kamal’s previous disaster, Indian 3. Sources indicate that even this movie may head in the same direction.
Meanwhile, music director AR Rahman also delivered an upsetting background score and musical album for this movie. Apart from a couple of songs, nothing worked on the musical front. The background score was a big letdown.
Mega fans are very worried about Rahman’s work in this movie, as he is also composing the music for Ram Charan’s upcoming film, Peddi. After witnessing Rahman’s songs and background score in Thuglife, people are worried if he will disappoint with Peddi too. Director Buchi Babu Sana has a big work ahead in getting the best output from Rahman.
Rahman delivered a good background score for Peddi’s first glimpse and that teaser was also received well by the audience. But due to Thug Life, people are now concered about Peddi’s score.
Just like how he worked with Rahman for the teaser cut, Buchi Babu needs to work with the Oscar-winning composer for the entire film to drag the best output. Otherwise, it feels like Rahman ran out of juice and may give an underwhelming output. Fans are hoping that Buchi Babu learns from Thug Life and take necessary precautions for Peddi.
