Malayalam superstar ‘s son, has given up on the luxurious lifestyle and has decided to live a quiet, non-glamorous life. Mohanlal’s stardom and fame is known to all. But, his son lives like a normal boy. Pranav lives in Spain and works in other people’s farms and also takes care of pigs. Pranav takes care of many other animals in the farm. Drishyam star’s wife Suchitra told Manorama that even though she listens to a few scripts for him every year, it is Pranav’s final choice to select the film project. She said how is he busy with work other than films. She even added saying that Pranav is interested in a work away programme at a farm in Spain. In that place, Mohanlal’s son works in exchange for food and accommodation rather than money. Suchitra said that instead of financial rewards, Pranav is the one who values such experiences and has started taking care of horses and goats. She also said that his cousins, often say that Pranav only listens to her. But, she does not think this is entirely true. Suchitra said that Pranav has his own ideas and is not stubborn. She said how he does what he feels is right.
Suchitra said that pranav often gets comparedf with his father Mohanlal and he cannot become like him. Mohanlal’s only son Pranav made his acting debut as a child artist in Punarjani in 2003. He also received the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist for this film.
On the work front, Pranav returned to the film industry as an assistant director under Jeethu Joseph. He went on to work for Papanasam, The Life of Josutty and more. He made his acting debut with Aadhi, which became the highest-grossing Malayalam films of that year. He also received SIIMA Award for Best Debut Actor for his performance. He also made his debut as a singer-songwriter and performed the song Gypsy Woman. He worked in Hrudayam, which became a hit.
