Do Shikaari was a controversial movie as it featured a long kissing scene, a scene that Rekha wasn’t aware of. Reportedly, Biswajit Chatterjee kissed her without her consent. The scene was planned by Biswajit and director in advance, and they reportedly did not inform Rekha. It is also said that the crew cheered and clapped as the scene was shot.
As per reports in sites, the incident left Rekha in shock. She cried and found herself helpless as the director did not call for cut. Despite her reaction, the scene wasn’t removed from the film. It did reportedly ran in trouble with censor board back then due to the long kissing scene. The film did well at the box office and Rekha received positive reviews.
