Singer and actor Shannon K made her debut at the Coachella Music Festival in April 2025. She is the daughter of legendary Bollywood singer Kumar Sanu. At the music festival, Shannon will be joining other popular Indian singers like Diljit Dosanjh and AP Dhillon.

Shannon K herself confirmed the news with her statement and share post on social media. She became the first indie Indian-origin artist to represent India at the Coachella Music Festival 2025. The singer-actress shared how thrilled she is to be a part of the big festival.

Her statement reads, “It’s in the bucket list of every Indian-origin indie artist working hard to break the boundaries and make their music heard. Indians are extremely talented. Indian music, while rooted in Indian classical to RnB and pop, is underrated. This is the beginning of something incredible and I’m so excited for it.”

Kumar Sanu’s daughter reportedly performed her own indie-pop songs and also some popular Bollywood songs. This year, Coachella is held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The fest will be held over two weeks – April 11 to April 13 and April 18 to April 20. A lot of people from different parts of the world attend the music festival every year and have the time of their lives. As per the reports, this year, it will be attended by at least 120,000 music fans.
