It was during her 6th attempt that HS Keerthana finally achieved her goals. She passed the UPSC exam with AIR 167 and earned herself a position of Assistant Commissioner in Mandya district, Karnataka. But that’s not it. In 2011, Keerthana gave the Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS) and passed the same. Before pursuing the UPSC exams, she worked as a KAS officer for two years.
