However, the situation goes out of hand in some cases that it takes an unexpected turn. During the 90s, an actress decided to quit a film midway. Her decision left everyone shocked and there was a lot of speculation. The actress once dated Akshay Kumar. Almost three decades later, she has now decided to talk about her life and career.
The actress we are talking about is Sheeba Akashdeep. In an interview, Sheeba revealed that she decided to quit the film Surakshaa in 1995 after her co-star Aditya Pancholi screamed at her. Sheeba revealed, “I was tired; it was the middle of the night. I came to sets after doing two shifts. I was sleeping in my car, wrapped up in a blanket. I stepped out of the car for the shot; at that time, there were no vans. The director was about to explain the shot. Aur mud ke usne kuch bola ki ‘Do like that’ or something. Main itni neend mein. Maine bola, ‘You do your own work na.’. Woh itna trigger ho gaya, uss time woh bohut trigger ho jata tha. Bahut gaali galoch, chillam chilli hogayi us time, beech sadak pe aadhi raat ko.”
In the same interview with Pinkvilla, Sheeba revealed that after Aditya yelled at her, she got scared and cried and looked at the producer who was looking at her. However, he didn’t intervene or stop Aditya from screaming at her. “I sat in my car, slammed the door, and left the set. That was the first time I left the set like this. I said, ‘I won’t work now; I can’t. He abused me and you did nothing. I won’t come anymore on set.” The actress never went back to complete the film.
Along with Sheeba Akashdeep and Aditya Pancholi, Surakshaa also starred Sunil Shetty, Saif Ali Khan, Divya Dutta, and Monica Bedi. It was helmed by director Raju Mavani and the film performed average at the box office.
