In the series, Prashant plays a negative role, and the critics and audience have praised his performance.

Prashant is an Indian singer and actor who hails from Nepal’s Kathmandu. He is the winner of Indian Idol Season 3. Before Paatal Lok Season 2, Tamang has also acted in several Nepali movies like Gorkha Paltan, Angalo Yo Maya Ko, and Kin Maya Ma. In 2007, he made a special appearance on Sony TV’s show Amber Dhara.

Prashant was born in Darjeeling and his father was a cop. After his father’s death in an accident, Tamang was hired as a constable instead of his father’s place. Coming to his personal life, Prashant is married to Geeta Thapa, a flight attendant.
