He said that He gave up and started pitying himself. He began drinking a lot and cursing and questioning why won’t people work with him. He mentioned that he became negative. He used to sit at home and his wife used to work. The changing moment was when his son once said that he sits at home while mother goes to work. He added, “Something snapped in me. I just said, no I can’t! It was a slow process, when I got out of it, it took me time to get into the right mind frame to become okay. It can’t happen overnight.”
After years, the actor made a comeback with a web series titled Aashram. It was a massive hit. He then appeared in Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor and fans just loved him in the negative character. His avatar as Abrar has now become iconic. He reportedly charged Rs 4 to 5 crore for the film. He had a small part to play but was quite impactful.
