Rebel Star Prabhas has played an extended cameo in Manchu Vishnu’s upcoming devotional drama, Kannappa. The teaser gave us a glimpse of Prabhas’s eyes, but Rebel Star fans wanted more. Now, it has been revealed that Prabhas’s first look will be unveiled on February 3.
Along with the announcement, the makers released a pre-look poster of Prabhas that features his intense eyes and a Trishul. With this striking pre-look, fans are now eagerly awaiting the full first look on February 3.
Sources say that Prabhas plays the role of Lord Shiva in the film. While Akshay Kumar is playing the original form of Shiva, it seems that Prabhas will be seen as a different incarnation of Shiva who descends to Earth. As of now, these are mere speculations, and we’ll have to wait until the release to know more about Prabhas’s character in the movie.
Kannappa also features Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal in other extended cameos. Mohan Babu, Sarathkumar, Preity Mukundan, Madhoo, Brahmaji, and others play key roles.
The film is produced by Mohan Babu and directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. Kannappa is a pan-India film slated for worldwide release on April 25, 2025.
