In his first address to the nation since the launch of Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a stern message to Pakistan, asserting that India’s retaliation was both decisive and symbolic. Referring to the deadly Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 civilian lives, Modi called the assault “the most barbaric face of terrorism” and declared that Operation Sindoor marked a new chapter in India’s fight against terror. “On May 7, the whole world saw our resolve turn into action,” he said, saluting the armed forces for executing what he described as a crushing blow to over 100 terrorists and multiple terror bases across the border.
