The Bagmati Express departed from Mysuru at 10:30 AM, heading towards Darbhanga, when it crashed into a freight train near the Tamil Nadu-Andhra Pradesh border. The collision led to several coaches derailing, with some catching fire. Reports indicate that a few passengers sustained injuries, although specific details on the number and severity of the injuries have yet to be confirmed.
