Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar is currently focusing more on his racing career. From almost one year, he is participating in as many races as possible. Interestingly, Ajith shared his weight loss journey where he threw some facts and fitness goals to the fans. Can you believe that Ajith Kumar lost 42 kgs in 8 months? Yes, it is reality.
Interacting with the media recently, Ajith told that he realised that he needs to be fit only in the last year. Around August last year, he decided to embark on a fitness journey. A combination of diet, portion control, exercises like swimming and cycling helped him lose the weight.
Additionally, Ajith also became a teetotaler and a vegetarian. “I am doing all the things necessary to be super fit because endurance races are highly demanding. I need to give my heart and soul to racing, which I am doing right now,” he said.
It is indeed true that Ajith displayed extreme discipline throughout his fitness journey. Last year, Ajith underwent criticism for looking over weight. People commented that Ajith is putting least effort in the movies and is not taking any care on his body. But, in the turn around of 8 months, he completely changed his life style.
On the career front, Ajith assured everyone that he will come up with quality films in the coming days and he has a locked lineup for the next 6 years. Ajith’s next film begins in November 2025 and will release in Summer 2026.
