Sreeleela is all set to mark her debut in Hindi cinema with the upcoming film directed by Anurag Basu. Kartik Aaryan plays the male lead in the movie.
Kartik is playing the role of a singer in the movie and Sreeleela plays his love interest. The team released a first-look video featuring glimpses of both actors.
Going by the first look video, Kartik Aaryan is seen sporting a thick beard while Sreeleela upped her glamour dose. In the minute-long teaser, Sreeleela’s chemistry with Kartik is well established. It looks like she even performed lip-lock scenes in the movie.
The film is billed to be a musical drama with romantic elements. There are speculations that the film is the third instalment of the Aashiqui franchise but there is no clarity over the same. Earlier, Tripti Dimri was supposed to be seen in the leading lady role but Sreeleela replaced her.
The makers confirmed that the film will be released during Diwali 2025.
As we know, Sreeleela is set to star in another Bollywood project alongside Saif Ali Khan’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, under the Maddock Films banner.
