When started his concert at Delhi Technological University’s (DTU) Engifest 2025, little did he know that he’d have to stop it midway. Reason? Some attendees – from a gathering of over one lakh students – started throwing stones and bottles at the stage. Irked by the behaviour, Sonu Nigam stopped his live performance midway and asked the students to abstain from such actions.
“Main aapke liye aaya hun yahan pe so that we can all have a good time. I’m not asking you to not enjoy, but please aisa na kariye (I’m here for you so that we can all have a good time. I’m not asking you to not enjoy, but don’t do this),” he said as reported by Hindustan Times.
Several videos from his recent concert that was held in Delhi have gone viral on X. As evident from videos, Sonu Nigam was seen crooning his popular songs. A pink bunny band was also thrown at him which he wore during his performance.
A night to remember….

In February, Sonu floored audiences in Kolkata with his concert, but he was left angry when some members of the massive crowd stood up during the performance. The singer had to stop the concert to control the crowd. He was heard saying, “Agar tum ko khada hona hi hain, election mein khade ho jaao yaar! Please bithao. Jaldi karo… itna time jaa raha hain mera maalum hain? Apka cut off time aa jayga phir, baithao! Jaldi baitho! Baitho! Bahar niklo! Make this space empty.”
