Earlier, he said that Rahman is not that friendly as a person. Now, the Satrangi Re singer has criticised one of Rahman’s popular music albums, which featured a superstar.
The movie for which this album was composed was not a hit. However, people have often praised the music. But it looks like isn’t a fan. The movie is Yuvvraaj and it features Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Sonu was asked about the song ‘Shano Shano’ and he said that it was pretty average. He even showed no interest in talking about it and said he can’t praise a bad song.
When asked about the other two songs he sang for the Yuvvraaj album, Sonu Nigam told O2 India, “Voh bhool jaiye aap. Iske saare gaane bekaar the (Just forget about it.) All the songs were bad.” Meanwhile, did you know the song Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire, which gave an Oscar, was originally composed for Yuvvraaj? Earlier, director Subhash Ghai opened up about the same and said that the song won’t work for the situation in the movie.
