‘s murder has shocked all, and brought a spotlight on Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang has reportedly claimed that they were behind the murder of Baba Siddique. The politician’s connection with Salman Khan is said to be the motive. A few months ago, firing also took place outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai. With reported death threats, security around Salman Khan has increased. Earlier, reports mentioned that Salman Khan cancelled all his meetings in order to attend Baba Siddique’s funeral. This lead to speculations of his film Sikandar’s shooting schedule getting affected. But latest reports suggest that Salman Khan is going to continue shooting.
As per a report in Hindustan Times, ‘s manager confirmed that the reports of change in Sikandar schedule are not true. A source also shared that the security has increased on the sets of the film and the shooting is continuing. The source was quoted saying, “Salman sir always had security around him but lately additional 8-10 personnel have been added. They come for recce before he arrives.” The report also has a source saying that the schedule may have seen a change of one or two days but nothing major. Sikandar’s shoot was expected to finish by November or December but it may now end by January, but safety is the priority right now.
Salman Khan attended Baba Siddique’s funeral and was seen visiting politician’s son to pay his condolences. Baba Siddique was the one who got Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan to patch up. The actors were regular at the Iftaar Parties held by Baba Siddique. at a recent press meet spoke about Baba Siddique’s death and Salman Khan’s security. He added that there is a lot happening right now and sure, everyone is worried. He also stated that Salman Khan’s security is currently of utmost importance and everyone is doing their best to ensure that the star is safe. He said, “We are ensuring that everybody, along with the government and the police, is making sure that things go the way they should, and, he’s (Salman) protected. Everyone is doing their best. We want to stay this way right now.”
