As reported by Sacnilk.com, and ‘s action thriller made around Rs 5.75 crore approximately on day 5. These are the early estimates and the actual figures are yet to come in. The numbers have witnessed a significant dip over the weekdays. On day 4, Sikandar made approximately Rs 9.75 crore. It is more than 40% drop in numbers from day 4 to day 5. On day 3, the movie had made approximately Rs 19.5 crore. The day 2 was a good one as the film registered its highest box office numbers. Sikandar made approximately Rs 29 crore on first Monday, i.e., day 2. The opening day collection of Sikandar was around Rs 26 crore. The total collection of the film by the end of day 5 is approximately Rs 90 crore. As per official numbers, Sikandar has crossed the mark of Rs 150 crore in four days with its worldwide collection.
The numbers are decent but not great, and do not justify Salman Khan’s star power. Sikandar was supposed to be one of the highest grossers, record-breakers of the year. However, it looks like the box office numbers are getting affected by the negative reviews on social media.
Last evening, Salman Khan’s fans had to come out in his support as the actor got criticised for his choice of films. His fans are of belief that negative advertising is being done against Bhaijaan.
